{"id":13645,"date":"2010-07-09T12:27:00","date_gmt":"2010-07-09T10:27:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2010-07-09T12:27:00","modified_gmt":"2010-07-09T10:27:00","slug":"reuben-september-gone","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/business\/13645-reuben-september-gone.html","title":{"rendered":"Reuben September gone"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Telkom announced today that its Group CEO <a href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php?210087-Reuben-September\">Reuben September<\/a> has vacated his post and that <a href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php?226928-Jeffrey-Hedberg\">Jeffrey Hedberg<\/a> &#8211; former Cell C CEO &#8211; is currently acting Group CEO until a successor is appointed.<\/p>\n<p>Telkom said in a SENS statement that on 1 June it was announced that <a href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/business\/12857-Telkom-CEO-set-retire.html\">Reuben September will retire<\/a> as Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) and resign his directorship at the expiry of his contract.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;<a href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/business\/13341-Will-Reuben-September-last-until-November.html\">Having regard to the uncertainty<\/a> which prevails during such transition periods, Reuben September has agreed with the Telkom Board to step down as GCEO and resign as a director from 7 July 2010.
