Cell C is adding a R5 WhatsApp bundle to its portfolio of products, giving subscribers a month\u2019s access to WhatsApp with a fair usage limit of 1GB.<\/p>\n
\u201cFor close to a year, Cell C has offered Free WhatsApp to customers and now that the promotion is coming to an end, we really wanted to give customers the best possible value on this service,\u201d said Cell C CEO Jose Dos Santos.<\/p>\n
The bundle will be available to customers from 1 September.<\/p>\n
For R5, customers will be able to send pictures, voice messages, videos, and text messages via WhatsApp.<\/p>\n
The bundle will be available in a once off format, or as a monthly recurring bundle, and will be valid for 30 days. Data rates of a customer\u2019s tariff plan will apply if they don\u2019t use the bundle.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is a permanent product and not a promotional offer,\u201d said Dos Santos – available to all prepaid, top-up, and postpaid customers.<\/p>\n
