{"id":13956,"date":"2010-07-22T09:46:00","date_gmt":"2010-07-22T07:46:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2013-03-15T11:43:18","modified_gmt":"2013-03-15T09:43:18","slug":"android-eclair-upgrade-for-samsung-galaxy-spica","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/cellular\/13956-android-eclair-upgrade-for-samsung-galaxy-spica.html","title":{"rendered":"Android Eclair upgrade for Samsung Galaxy Spica"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Samsung Mobile announced via their blog today that the update to Android 2.1 \u201cEclair\u201d has been approved by network operators\u00a0and is available for the Samsung Galaxy Spica I5700.<\/p>\n<p>The Galaxy Spica is being upgraded from Android 1.5 \u201cCupcake\u201d to Android 2.1 \u201cEclair.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to Samsung the update isn&#8217;t available over the air (OTA) and owners of the handset will have to go to a Samsung-approved service centre.
