Cell C will launch Wi-Fi Calling<\/strong><\/a> on its network on 1 October, starting with the AG Style smartphone from local phone maker AG Mobile.<\/p>\n

Other devices will receive support for Wi-Fi calling throughout the remainder of the year, and include the: AG Shine; ZTE V6; Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge and Edge+; Galaxy Note 5; and Huawei P8 Lite.<\/p>\n

Depending on the codec of the device, Wi-Fi Calling uses around 1.5MB for a 10-minute call, said Cell C \u2013 with\u00a0Cell C tariff plan rates applied to the calls.<\/p>\n

Cell C has unveiled two deals specific to the service, the first of which is a bolt-on bundle for contract users<\/p>\n
