A DStv phishing email is doing the rounds, asking potential victims to verify their email address by clicking on a link.<\/p>\n

The email, shown below, appears to come\u00a0from an @multichoice.com address, and states it is being sent from the DStv Connect Team.<\/p>\n

“Dear Customer. We noticed you have not yet verified your email address,” states the mail, before instructing the recipient to click on a link to verify the address and avoid being disconnected.<\/p>\n

The link leads to a Drobox form asking for an email address and password.<\/p>\n

MultiChoice confirmed the email is a fake.<\/p>\n

“We will never ask our customers to click on a link to verify their email address or disconnect their DStv services if their email address is not verified,” sated MultiChoice.<\/p>\n
