{"id":14493,"date":"2010-08-17T13:54:00","date_gmt":"2010-08-17T11:54:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2010-08-17T13:54:00","modified_gmt":"2010-08-17T11:54:00","slug":"vodacom-announces-launch-date-of-iphone-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/cellular\/14493-vodacom-announces-launch-date-of-iphone-4.html","title":{"rendered":"Vodacom announces launch date of iPhone 4"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When Apple announced the iPhone 4 they also announced the roll-out plan of 18 countries in July and 24 in August, but South Africa wasn&#8217;t among the countries listed.<\/p>\n<p>After Vodacom confirmed that they would be bringing the iPhone 4 to South Africa <a href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/cellular\/13317-iPhone-likely-September.html\" target=\"_blank\">speculation abounded regarding when<\/a> it would reach our shores.<\/p>\n<p>In a tweet posted this afternoon, Pieter Uys, CEO of Vodacom, <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/uyspj\/status\/21394634446\" target=\"_blank\">confirmed that the cellular operator plans on launching the device<\/a>&nbsp;at the end of September.<\/p>\n<p>South Africans can also expect to see an official local launch announcement for the Samsung Galaxy S soon.
