{"id":146871,"date":"2015-11-20T09:49:46","date_gmt":"2015-11-20T07:49:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=146871"},"modified":"2015-11-20T09:52:31","modified_gmt":"2015-11-20T07:52:31","slug":"playstation-4-gets-ps2-emulation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/gaming\/146871-playstation-4-gets-ps2-emulation.html","title":{"rendered":"PlayStation 4 gets PS2 emulation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sony has launched PS2 emulation for the PlayStation 4, with a crop of old Star Wars games released as a bundle on the console, Digital Foundry\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/articles\/digitalfoundry-2015-hands-on-with-ps4-playstation2-emulation\" target=\"_blank\">reported<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The titles included in the bundle are Super Star Wars, Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter, Star Wars: Racer Revenge, and Star Wars: Bounty Hunter.<\/p>\n<p>There is no confirmation from Sony yet, but Digital Foundry said all evidence points towards emulation rather than remasters of these old Star Wars games.<\/p>\n<p>Digital Foundry\u00a0found the following:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>A system prompt appears telling you the old select and start buttons are mapped to the left and right sides of the DualShock 4\u2019s trackpad.
