{"id":14977,"date":"2010-09-07T08:50:00","date_gmt":"2010-09-07T06:50:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2010-09-07T08:50:00","modified_gmt":"2010-09-07T06:50:00","slug":"windows-phone-7-in-sa-by-december","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/cellular\/14977-windows-phone-7-in-sa-by-december.html","title":{"rendered":"Windows Phone 7 in SA by December"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Microsoft says its much-anticipated Windows Phone 7 mobile operating system is on track to be available to South African consumers in time for the December holidays.<\/p>\n<p>The company announced that Windows Phone 7 had been released to manufacturing (RTM) which means that the operating system has been finalised and delivered to a range of hardware partners and mobile operators worldwide to integrate it with their devices and networks.<\/p>\n<p>This software milestone, announced on the Windows Phone Blog this week, delivers a range of brand-new feature enhancements that address concerns expressed in previews of the system.<\/p>\n<p>Microsoft believes that their new mobile OS will propel it back into the mobile market with a vengeance.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Windows Phone 7 is a big step for Microsoft.
