{"id":15029,"date":"2010-09-08T20:13:00","date_gmt":"2010-09-08T18:13:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2010-09-08T20:13:00","modified_gmt":"2010-09-08T18:13:00","slug":"google-searches-as-fast-as-you-can-type","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/internet\/15029-google-searches-as-fast-as-you-can-type.html","title":{"rendered":"Google searches as fast as you can type"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After two days of teasingly tinkering with the log &#8220;doodle&#8221; atop its search home page and ended the mystery by showing off Google Instant &#8212; a speedier route to Web results at a press event in the San Francisco Museum of Art.<\/p>\n<p>As searchers type in a query, the Google search box displays a list of suggested terms and displays the actual results for the top suggestion.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Google Instant actually gets queries and gives you search results as you type and streams those results to your computer,&#8221; said Google vice president of search products and user experience Marissa Mayer.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are actually predicting what query you are likely to do and giving you results for that.
