Intel has unveiled its latest Compute Sticks – which feature better hardware than their predecessors, but also come with a higher price tag.<\/p>\n

The new Compute Sticks have Core M3 and M5 chips\u00a0– Intel’s\u00a0sixth generation Skylake chip architecture.<\/p>\n

The latest Compute Sticks sport 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and USB 3.0.<\/p>\n

The Sticks also offers a matte plastic casing, and will ship with Windows 10.<\/p>\n

The Compute Stick with an Intel Core M3 processor will be priced at $399 (R6,300). The Core M5 model will be priced at $499 (R7,900).<\/p>\n

More affordable Compute Stick model<\/h3>\n

Intel also unveiled a more affordable Compute Stick, which features a Cherry Trail Intel Atom processor.<\/p>\n

It sports 802.11ac Wi-Fi, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and ships with Windows 10.<\/p>\n

The Intel Compute Stick with an Atom x5-z8400 processor is available for $159 (R2,500).<\/p>\n
