With only a few staff members the division has processed 1155 applications for the 2006\/2007 financial year.<\/p>\n<p>During this period ICASA received 1400 applications of which the majority were processed while the remaining ones are either pending or rejected. Almost 9 million labels for equipment were printed. <\/p>\n<p>The average processing time for Radio Frequency (RF) type applications is 13 days while fixed line licenses take 22 on average.<\/p>\n<p>The Authority relies heavily on accredited test labs to provide it with proof of compliance.
