WhatsApp is the most popular messaging program in the world, with one billion people using the service each month<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

South Africa is no exception, with millions of people in the country using WhatsApp as a primary method of communication.<\/p>\n

While it is easy to use the messaging service, there are some tricks and tips which can add value to a WhatsApp user\u2019s life.<\/p>\n

Read a WhatsApp message without your friends knowing<\/h3>\n

Turn on Airplane Mode on your device to read a\u00a0WhatsApp message without a read receipt being sent.<\/p>\n

Turning\u00a0Airplane Mode off afterwards will then deliver the read receipt.<\/p>\n

Disable WhatsApp read receipts<\/h3>\n

Open WhatsApp and tap the three vertical dots icon on the top right. Go to Settings > Account > Privacy > Uncheck Read receipts.<\/p>\n
