{"id":155881,"date":"2016-02-24T08:58:09","date_gmt":"2016-02-24T06:58:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=155881"},"modified":"2016-02-24T08:59:28","modified_gmt":"2016-02-24T06:59:28","slug":"mtn-uncapped-data-what-it-really-means","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/cellular\/155881-mtn-uncapped-data-what-it-really-means.html","title":{"rendered":"MTN uncapped data &#8211; what it really means"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Some MTN subscribers are angry at the company after receiving data bills for thousands of rand after purchasing uncapped data bundles.<\/p>\n<p>This raised questions as to whether MTN\u2019s uncapped products are truly uncapped, and what MTN views as &#8220;uncapped data&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mtn.co.za\/pages\/website_legal.aspx?termsid=384\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>MTN\u2019s website explains<\/strong><\/a> that its 1 Day uncapped Internet bundle provides customers with \u201cuncapped data, subject to the fair use policy, valid for 1 Day from the time it is purchased\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The fair use value for MTN\u2019s 1 Day uncapped Internet bundle is 150MB.
