Vox Telecom has informed its subscribers that they can expect price increases, necessitated by \u201csignificant inflation in critical input costs\u201d.<\/p>\n
The company told subscribers \u201cwe regret to inform you that due to significant inflation in critical input costs, an increase in fees applicable to your services has unfortunately become unavoidable\u201d.<\/p>\n
It added that, as a result of its ongoing cost efficiency initiatives, the increase in fees will, in all instances, be limited to 3.9%.<\/p>\n
According to Vox Telecom\u2019s helpdesk, all products are affected by the price increase – including the company\u2019s Fatpipe ADSL services.<\/p>\n
Vox Telecom CEO Jacques du Toit told MyBroadband<\/strong><\/a> in February that there will be price increases on some Vox products, but they were looking at ways to lower the impact.<\/p>\n \u201cThe rand has lost approximately 50% of its value against the dollar over the last 12 months. To pass this on to the consumer will not be sustainable.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cCustomers will be given various options to soften the impact.
