Microsoft has announced it will deliver an\u00a0Anniversary Update for Windows 10 in the coming months (US summer).<\/p>\n

According to a report by Engadget<\/a><\/strong>, Microsoft made the announcement at its 2016 Build Conference.<\/p>\n

The update will bring support for\u00a0Windows Hello’s biometric authentication to apps, including the Edge browser.<\/p>\n

This will allow users to log into a website using their fingerprint, stated the report.<\/p>\n

Other new features will include Pen support with the sticky note app and virtual drawing tools; and unification between the Windows 10 and Xbox One app stores.<\/p>\n

Universal apps and Linux Bash support<\/h3>\n

Microsoft also announced the launch of\u00a0Linux Bash support, which will\u00a0integrate the Bash command line shell and support for Ubuntu Linux binaries into Windows 10.<\/p>\n

Updates to its Universal Windows apps were also revealed, with\u00a0Facebook, Messenger, Twitter, Instagram, and Vine – and many more – set to work across\u00a0Windows mobile, Xbox, and desktop platforms.<\/p>\n
