Facebook has a message filter, which sends messages which it thinks you do not want to see (like spam) to a \u201chidden\u201d inbox.<\/p>\n

Unlike normal messages from Facebook friends which result in a notification from the social network, messages which are filtered out do not give off an alert.<\/p>\n

This means these messages remain hidden, unless a user accesses the hidden inbox.<\/p>\n

Here’s how to do it.<\/p>\n

Go to your messages inbox<\/h3>\n

Go to Facebook.com, then click on Messages.<\/p>\n

Find the Filtered Messages<\/h3>\n

Click on More, then click on Filtered.<\/p>\n

Move real messages which were filtered to your inbox<\/h3>\n

Open the message, click on the Actions icon, select Move to Inbox.<\/p>\n
