Tesla has revealed\u00a0a refresh of its Model S, including the fascia and adaptive LED headlights that closely resemble the design introduced with the Model X crossover in 2015.<\/p>\n

The Model S has also received a version of the \u201cBioweapon Defence Mode\u201d feature that debuted on the Model X.<\/p>\n

\u201cModel S now features a medical-grade HEPA air filtration system, which removes at least 99.97% of particulate exhaust pollution and effectively all allergens, bacteria, and other contaminants from cabin air,\u201d said Tesla.<\/p>\n

Tesla has also boosted the charger on the Model S to 48Amps, The Verge reported<\/a><\/strong>. Previously, the Model S came with a 40Amp charger.<\/p>\n

It noted that a\u00a0rumoured upgrade to a 100kWh battery was missing from Tesla\u2019s announcement.<\/p>\n
