{"id":1645,"date":"2007-10-16T11:03:00","date_gmt":"2007-10-16T09:03:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2007-10-16T11:03:00","modified_gmt":"2007-10-16T09:03:00","slug":"doc-dg-misses-all-audit-committee-meetings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/technology\/1645-doc-dg-misses-all-audit-committee-meetings.html","title":{"rendered":"DoC DG misses all Audit Committee meetings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>According to the Department of Communications&rsquo; annual report for the financial year ending 31 March 2006, the Audit Committee consists of four members, namely TZ Gcabashe (Chairperson), Z Lesame, N Oliphant and L Shope-Mafole (DG). <\/p>\n<p>The audit committee meets four times a year &lsquo;as per approved terms of reference&rsquo;. During this financial year one special meeting was arranged so that five meetings were scheduled. According to the DoC report only three meetings were held &lsquo;because of the audit committee not forming a quorum as a result of resignation of members&rsquo;.<\/p>\n<p>Gcabashe and Oliphant attended 2 meetings each while Lesame attended 3 meetings.
