{"id":165436,"date":"2016-05-18T11:05:27","date_gmt":"2016-05-18T09:05:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=165436"},"modified":"2016-05-18T11:07:10","modified_gmt":"2016-05-18T09:07:10","slug":"windows-7-gets-new-service-pack","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/software\/165436-windows-7-gets-new-service-pack.html","title":{"rendered":"Windows 7 gets new Service Pack"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Microsoft has launched a new\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/catalog.update.microsoft.com\/v7\/site\/Search.aspx?q=3125574\" target=\"_blank\">convenience rollup for Windows 7 Service Pack 1<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0which packages the latest updates and app versions.<\/p>\n<p>The package\u00a0contains all suitable\u00a0security and non-security fixes released since Windows 7 SP1 through to April 2016.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Since this update can be injected into Windows 7 SP1 media, it\u2019s fully supported to mount a Windows 7 SP1 image (WIM file), then <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/technet.microsoft.com\/en-us\/library\/dd744559(v=ws.10).aspx\" target=\"_blank\">inject this update into it<\/a><\/strong>,&#8221; said Microsoft.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0convenience update is optional.
