{"id":168399,"date":"2016-06-14T00:25:10","date_gmt":"2016-06-13T22:25:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=168399"},"modified":"2016-06-14T07:17:32","modified_gmt":"2016-06-14T05:17:32","slug":"xbox-one-s-prices-and-launch-window","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/gaming\/168399-xbox-one-s-prices-and-launch-window.html","title":{"rendered":"Xbox One S prices and launch window"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Microsoft has unveiled\u00a0the Xbox One S after details of the console <a href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/gaming\/168229-new-xbox-one-s-details.html\"><strong>leaked online<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The console will be priced from $299, and will\u00a0be available from early August.<\/p>\n<p>The Xbox One S will have\u00a0a smaller and slimmer design,\u00a0along with hardware capable of delivering\u00a04K video support.<\/p>\n<p>Existing Xbox One games will run on the Xbox One S.<\/p>\n<p>While no spec sheet\u00a0is available yet, Microsoft did reveal the following details:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>New, slimmer design.<\/li>\n<li>40% smaller than the original Xbox One.<\/li>\n<li>2TB hard drive.<\/li>\n<li>4K Ultra HD video support.<\/li>\n<li>High Dynamic Range\u00a0support.<\/li>\n<li>Streamlined controller.<\/li>\n<li>Vertical stand.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/articles\/2016-06-13-microsoft-announces-the-xbox-one-s-price-and-release-date\" target=\"_blank\">Eurogamer reported<\/a><\/strong> that the UK and EU prices for the Xbox One S have been released, in addition to the US prices.
