Apple has announced it will no longer make its Thunderbolt display.<\/p>\n

“We\u2019re discontinuing the Apple Thunderbolt Display. It will be available through\u00a0Apple.com, Apple\u2019s retail stores, and Apple Authorized Resellers while supplies last,” said Apple.<\/p>\n

“There are a number of great third-party options available for Mac users.”<\/p>\n

The announcement comes after\u00a0reports that Apple will soon launch a 4K or 5K version of its external display.<\/p>\n

According to 9to5Mac, the new Apple display<\/strong><\/a> will feature a resolution of\u00a05,120 \u00d7 2,880 and have a built-in graphics card.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0integrated graphics card will reduce the hardware requirements for driving the monitor and ensure compatibility with current and future Macs, said 9to5Mac.<\/p>\n
