MTN has introduced a new default plan for MTN PayAsYouGo users called MTN Base, with a call rate of R1.50 per minute.<\/p>\n
\u201cNow, when you join MTN you\u2019ll automatically be on the MTN Base price plan,\u201d it said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat means you\u2019ll enjoy a flat rate for data and for on-net calls [R1.50] with per second billing. It\u2019s simple, affordable, and lets you stay in touch conveniently.\u201d<\/p>\n
MTN Base replaces MTN Pay Per Second as the default plan for MTN PayAsYouGo users.<\/p>\n
MTN Pay Per Second offers far better value for money, with a call rate of 79c per minute\u00a0and a standard data rate of 99c per MB.<\/p>\n
MTN told MyBroadband that it has reviewed its current pricing and package structures to \u201censure that its propositions remain relevant and competitive in the market\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe pricing review affects MTN’s base price plan for new customers i.e. changed to R1.50,\u201d MTN said.<\/p>\n
Good news is that\u00a0MTN’s new customers can still migrate to Pay per Second tariff plan, while existing MTN PayAsYouGo customers can select to migrate to the MTN Base price plan.<\/p>\n
