{"id":172602,"date":"2016-07-19T17:18:38","date_gmt":"2016-07-19T15:18:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=172602"},"modified":"2016-07-19T17:20:14","modified_gmt":"2016-07-19T15:20:14","slug":"most-government-requests-ever-for-google-data","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/internet\/172602-most-government-requests-ever-for-google-data.html","title":{"rendered":"Most government requests ever for Google data"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Google has updated its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/transparencyreport\/userdatarequests\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Transparency Report<\/strong><\/a> on government requests for user data with information from the second half of 2015, which shows the highest number of requests ever.<\/p>\n<p>In its Transparency Report, Google discloses the number of requests it received from each government in six-month periods.<\/p>\n<p>According to the report, Google received 40,677 requests for user data between July 2015 and December 2015.
