Openweb recently launched their latest uncapped ADSL offerings: OpenBrowse Uncapped. This service is aimed at ADSL subscribers who mainly browse the web, check emails and use services such as Facebook and online banking.<\/p>\n

Openweb explains that all browsing runs at the full speed, but warns that downloads of any nature will be shaped from ‘medium to strong’ according to network usage. “Basically, downloading will take the last priority on these accounts,” said Openweb MD Keoma Wright.<\/p>\n

Openweb’s OpenBrowse uncapped ADSL packages are priced as follows:<\/p>\n

384k Uncapped – R98
512k Uncapped – R148
4096k Uncapped – R389<\/p>\n

Opwenweb’s OpenBrowse uncapped ADSL service competes directly against Axxess’ JustSurf Uncapped offerings, priced at R99, R149 and R999 for 384 Kbps, 512 Kbps and 4 Mbps services respectively.<\/p>\n

Like Openweb’s OpenBrowse service, Axxess’ JustSurf offering is aimed at ADSL users who mainly use their connection for email and web surfing.<\/p>\n
