{"id":174924,"date":"2016-08-05T07:55:48","date_gmt":"2016-08-05T05:55:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=174924"},"modified":"2016-08-05T07:57:36","modified_gmt":"2016-08-05T05:57:36","slug":"mtn-preparing-for-spectrum-auction","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/cellular\/174924-mtn-preparing-for-spectrum-auction.html","title":{"rendered":"MTN preparing for spectrum auction"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MTN is &#8220;actively preparing documentation&#8221; to meet the deadline for enquiries for Icasa&#8217;s spectrum auction.<\/p>\n<p>MTN made the statement as part of its group interim financial results for the six months ended\u00a030 June 2016.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;On 15 July 2016, Icasa\u00a0<span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">published an invitation to apply for high-demand spectrum, in the 700MHz, 800Mhz, and 2.6GHz spectrum bands,&#8221; said MTN.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There are four lots on offer with a reserve price of\u00a0R3 billion.
