Intel\u00a0will allow its Custom Foundry customers to manufacture\u00a0ARM chips using the Intel\u00a010nm process, the companies announced.<\/p>\n
ARM said it\u00a0is making\u00a0its\u00a0Artisan Physical IP available on the process as part of an ongoing collaboration.<\/p>\n
“Optimising this technology for Intel’s 10nm process means that foundry customers can take advantage of the IP to achieve best-in-class for power-efficient, high-performance implementations of their designs for mobile and other consumer applications,” said Intel.<\/p>\n

Chips based on Intel’s 10nm process are expected to launch during 2017.<\/p>\n
