{"id":17799,"date":"2011-01-18T12:55:00","date_gmt":"2011-01-18T10:55:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2011-01-18T12:55:00","modified_gmt":"2011-01-18T10:55:00","slug":"blackberry-internet-service-pricing-comparison","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/cellular\/17799-blackberry-internet-service-pricing-comparison.html","title":{"rendered":"BlackBerry Internet Service pricing comparison"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Part of BlackBerry&#8217;s value proposition is the offer of flat-rated Internet access.<\/p>\n<p>For around R60 per month users can enjoy unlimited Internet access from their BlackBerry device, so long as it&#8217;s not used to connect a PC to the Internet or for streaming media such as YouTube videos.<\/p>\n<p>Not all of South Africa&#8217;s cellular service providers offer BIS, and those that do also don&#8217;t charge the same monthly rate for BIS.<\/p>\n<p>Neither Virgin Mobile nor 8ta currently offer BlackBerry services. 8ta had previously indicated that they aimed to <a href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/telecoms\/15836-8ta-powered-Telkom-Pricing-and-other-details.html\" target=\"_self\">launch BlackBerry<\/a> on their network by the end of 2010.<\/p>\n<p>Cell C and Vodacom price their prepaid and postpaid BIS &ldquo;value-added service&rdquo;
