scam"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>FNB is warning banking customers about a new scam which is doing the rounds in South Africa.<\/p>\n<p>The bank is issuing a warning to customers when they visit FNB&#8217;s online banking portal.<\/p>\n<p>The scam is based on criminals asking FNB customers to either reactivate or register their FNB card.<\/p>\n<p>An example of the scam is detailed below.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\">Step 1 &#8211; Profile stolen<\/h3>\n<p>When you enter your details on this screen, the fraudsters will be in a position to access your banking profile.<\/p>\n<p>FNB said it will never ask for your username, password, or PIN in an email, SMS, or phone call.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Never select a link to our website that was sent via email,&#8221;
