{"id":184256,"date":"2016-10-24T13:40:38","date_gmt":"2016-10-24T11:40:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=184256"},"modified":"2016-10-24T13:41:45","modified_gmt":"2016-10-24T11:41:45","slug":"afrihost-mobile-network-emergency-maintenance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/cellular\/184256-afrihost-mobile-network-emergency-maintenance.html","title":{"rendered":"Afrihost Mobile network emergency maintenance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Afrihost will perform emergency maintenance on its mobile network between midnight and 05:00 tomorrow morning (25 October), the company told subscribers in a\u00a0text\u00a0message.<\/p>\n<p>Afrihost offers\u00a0cellular services as a mobile virtual network operator on MTN&#8217;s\u00a0network in South Africa.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There may be intermittent mobile data connectivity outages during this period,&#8221; said Afrihost.<\/p>\n<p>Afrihost also published a maintenance notice on its website, which differed to the SMS notification:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Our Network Team will be performing scheduled maintenance on our Mobile Network between 01:00AM and 05:00AM on the morning of Tuesday 25 October 2016. There may be intermittent mobile data connectivity during this period.
