{"id":185922,"date":"2016-11-04T17:15:58","date_gmt":"2016-11-04T15:15:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=185922"},"modified":"2016-11-04T17:17:31","modified_gmt":"2016-11-04T15:17:31","slug":"adobe-building-photoshop-for-audio","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/software\/185922-adobe-building-photoshop-for-audio.html","title":{"rendered":"Adobe building Photoshop for audio"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Adobe has teased new software called &#8220;Photoshop for audio&#8221;,\u00a0according to reports.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.creativebloq.com\/news\/adobe-prototypes-photoshop-for-audio\" target=\"_blank\">CreativeBloq reported<\/a><\/strong> that the app, Project VoCo, is a prototype that can synthesise speech and rewrite what a\u00a0speaker has said in a clip.<\/p>\n<p>Adobe said you need around 20 minutes of recorded speech for its\u00a0engine to accurately add new words to a clip of\u00a0audio.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;When recording voiceovers, dialogue, and narration, people would often like to change or insert a word or a few words due to either a mistake they made or simply because they would like to change part of the narrative,&#8221; said Adobe.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;You can simply type in the word or words that you would like to change or insert into the voiceover.
