{"id":18597,"date":"2011-02-21T17:42:00","date_gmt":"2011-02-21T15:42:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2011-02-21T17:42:00","modified_gmt":"2011-02-21T15:42:00","slug":"nokia-hoax-warning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/cellular\/18597-nokia-hoax-warning.html","title":{"rendered":"Nokia hoax warning"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"BodyP\">Nokia did not participate in any lottery activities and the messages constituted a scam, the company said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p class=\"BodyP\">It warned of sophisticated hoaxes by a syndicate of fraudsters which requested an administration fee to collect winnings.<\/p>\n<p class=\"BodyP\">Nokia said the fraudsters used software which enabled  them to see which handset was being used by a target.
