{"id":18905,"date":"2011-03-07T15:28:00","date_gmt":"2011-03-07T13:28:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2011-03-07T15:28:00","modified_gmt":"2011-03-07T13:28:00","slug":"multichoice-email-scam-warning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/internet\/18905-multichoice-email-scam-warning.html","title":{"rendered":"MultiChoice email scam warning"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MultiChoice today warned their customers against an email scam where their customers are encouraged to click on a link and share their identity and credit card numbers.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;MultiChoice will never ask for your financial and personal identification details via e-mail or telephonically, unless you have initiated a telephone call to our Call Centre,&rdquo; the company said.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;If you have clicked on the link and inserted your details, please cancel your credit card with your bank immediately.
