{"id":189374,"date":"2016-11-27T18:03:15","date_gmt":"2016-11-27T16:03:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=189374"},"modified":"2016-11-27T18:04:41","modified_gmt":"2016-11-27T16:04:41","slug":"vodacom-please-call-me-negotiations-ongoing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/cellular\/189374-vodacom-please-call-me-negotiations-ongoing.html","title":{"rendered":"Vodacom Please Call Me negotiations ongoing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Vodacom has said <a href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/cellular\/163865-vodacom-to-start-discussions-with-please-call-me-inventor.html\"><strong>negotiations between Please Call Me \u201cinventor\u201d Nkosana Makate and the company<\/strong><\/a> to determine reasonable compensation are ongoing.<\/p>\n<p>This follows a <a href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/cellular\/163190-massive-victory-for-please-call-me-idea-man-against-vodacom-report.html\"><strong>Constitutional Court ruling<\/strong><\/a> in April which found Vodacom was bound by an agreement with Makate to compensate him.<\/p>\n<p>The Constitutional Court ordered Vodacom to negotiate with Makate \u201cin good faith\u201d to determine \u201creasonable compensation\u201d for his idea.
