{"id":189460,"date":"2016-11-27T08:46:51","date_gmt":"2016-11-27T06:46:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=189460"},"modified":"2016-11-27T08:48:03","modified_gmt":"2016-11-27T06:48:03","slug":"multichoice-getting-more-subscribers-making-more-money","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/broadcasting\/189460-multichoice-getting-more-subscribers-making-more-money.html","title":{"rendered":"MultiChoice &#8211; getting more subscribers, making more money"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MultiChoice has released its results for the six months ended 30 September 2016, which show an increase in revenue and subscribers.<\/p>\n<p>The company &#8211; which runs the DStv, M-Net, SuperSport, and GOtv brands &#8211; reported an increase in revenue to R19.4 billion.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Significant increases&#8221; in content costs consumed the revenue growth, though, said the company.
