{"id":18947,"date":"2011-03-08T14:51:00","date_gmt":"2011-03-08T12:51:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2011-03-08T14:51:00","modified_gmt":"2011-03-08T12:51:00","slug":"telkom-considering-20mbps-uncapped-broadband","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/broadband\/18947-telkom-considering-20mbps-uncapped-broadband.html","title":{"rendered":"Telkom considering 20Mbps uncapped broadband?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MWEB last year shook up the ADSL and broadband market when it launched affordable uncapped ADSL services.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Vox Telecom, Internet Solutions, Afrihost and others launched competing uncapped services within day, but to date Telkom has not joined the &lsquo;uncapped ADSL&rsquo; bandwagon.<\/p>\n<p>However, a recent survey suggests that Telkom may well be looking into an uncapped ADSL solution, accompanied by higher speeds and bundled voice minutes.<\/p>\n<p>The online telecoms survey, completed by the &lsquo;e-ELITE Telecoms User Panel&rsquo;, asked people a variety of questions related to ADSL, broadband pricing and speeds, 8ta contract bundling, IPTV, movies on demand and home surveillance services.<\/p>\n<p>While Telkom was not explicitly mentioned in the survey, the questions pointed strongly towards the fact that the survey was conducted by Telkom.
