The reason batteries of certain iPhone 6s smartphones failed is because they were exposed to “controlled ambient air” for too long\u00a0during manufacturing.<\/p>\n
“As a result, these batteries degrade faster than a normal battery and cause unexpected shutdowns to occur. It’s important to note, this is not a safety issue,” said Apple.<\/p>\n
