iBurst has informed subscribers it is\u00a0rolling out its high-speed LTE-Advanced network to replace its wireless network.<\/p>\n
“While our nationwide iBurst network has been providing South Africans with affordable bandwidth and connectivity for well over a decade, it has become increasingly outdated in terms of comparable connectivity services now available on the market,” said iBurst.<\/p>\n
Existing customers can\u00a0take up migration specials which will run until the end of January 2017.<\/p>\n
The\u00a0specials are\u00a0subject to coverage in your area, said iBurst.<\/p>\n
“As the new LTE-A network is rolled out, your managed migration will be as disruption-free as possible.”<\/p>\n
“If you do experience any disruption, please do not hesitate to contact us.”<\/p>\n
iBurst also announced that it has “Supersized” the accounts of existing clients.<\/p>\n
“You’ll see a sizeable increase in the data available to you and it won’t cost you a cent. Supersize took place on the 1st of December and will run for three months during the migration period.”<\/p>\n
The news follows\u00a0an announcement by WBS<\/strong><\/a> that it is rolling out a national LTE-A network in the coming years.<\/p>\n iBurst’s promotional migration deals are available on 24-month contracts.<\/p>\nPricing<\/h3>\n
