Cell C CEO Jeffrey Hedberg says Ghalayini’s departure will certainly leave a void. “He has been an integral part of Cell C since its launch in 2001. Muhieddine played an instrumental role in the preparation of the bid for Cell C’s licence, the establishment of the company, its funding requirements, on-going growth and development.” <\/p>\n
This announcement comes only a few days after the news broke that the company’s Chief Commercial Officer, Clifford Sampson, and Executive Head of Sales, Craig Kidson are leaving the company.<\/p>\n
The exodus of executives does not bode well for Hedberg who said earlier this year that his strong executive team is one of the strengths of the company. <\/p>\n
Candidates for the CFO position will be presented to the Cell C Board during its meeting in November. “We will announce Cell C’s new CFO once the Board has approved a successor,” concludes Hedberg.<\/p>\n
