Vodacom has released its trading update for the quarter ended 31 December 2016, which shows that the company has significantly grown its LTE coverage.<\/p>\n
The mobile operator spent R2.1 billion on its network in the last quarter, which helped it to increase LTE coverage from 54.1% to 70% over the past year.<\/p>\n
Vodacom also extended high-speed transmission to 91.4% of its sites, which provides support for higher broadband speeds to consumers.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs data demand continues to grow exponentially, we entered into a commercial agreement to roam on the newly-built data network of Wireless Business Solution (WBS) for additional capacity,\u201d said Vodacom.<\/p>\n
