{"id":201152,"date":"2017-03-02T14:22:46","date_gmt":"2017-03-02T12:22:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=201152"},"modified":"2017-03-02T14:24:30","modified_gmt":"2017-03-02T12:24:30","slug":"prepare-for-50mb-email-attachments","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/internet\/201152-prepare-for-50mb-email-attachments.html","title":{"rendered":"Prepare for 50MB email attachments"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Google has <a href=\"https:\/\/gsuiteupdates.googleblog.com\/2017\/03\/receive-emails-of-up-to-50mb-in-gmail.html\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>announced<\/strong><\/a> that Gmail users can now receive attachments up to 50MB in size.<\/p>\n<p>The company said users will be able to receive the bigger attachments from 1 March 2017.<\/p>\n<p>The full roll-out will take 1-3 days, and is available to all G Suite editions.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;While Google Drive offers a convenient way to share files of any size, sometimes you need to receive large files as direct email attachments,&#8221; said Google.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Sending size limits will remain the same at 25MB.
