{"id":201204,"date":"2017-03-03T07:21:57","date_gmt":"2017-03-03T05:21:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=201204"},"modified":"2017-03-03T08:56:52","modified_gmt":"2017-03-03T06:56:52","slug":"gumtree-website-gets-a-big-upgrade","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/internet\/201204-gumtree-website-gets-a-big-upgrade.html","title":{"rendered":"Gumtree website gets a big upgrade"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Gumtree&#8217;s South African <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gumtree.co.za\/\" target=\"_blank\">website<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>has received a new homepage and several new features, said the company.<\/p>\n<p>The homepage will now feature trending ads, with\u00a0ads that are most popular in a user\u2019s area displayed.<\/p>\n<p>Activity card notifications &#8211; similar to Facebook, informing users of activity occurring near their location &#8211; and an improved search bar and location recognition system have also been implemented.<\/p>\n<p>Gumtree added that browsing on mobile devices has also been improved.
