{"id":207164,"date":"2017-04-17T13:19:05","date_gmt":"2017-04-17T11:19:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=207164"},"modified":"2017-04-17T13:20:14","modified_gmt":"2017-04-17T11:20:14","slug":"top-10-things-which-make-programmers-unhappy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/software\/207164-top-10-things-which-make-programmers-unhappy.html","title":{"rendered":"Top 10 things which make programmers unhappy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A new study has revealed that being stuck in problem solving, time pressure, and bad code quality and coding practice are the main causes of unhappiness among programmers.<\/p>\n<p>The study involved quantitative and qualitative surveys of 2,220 developers, yielding a \u201crich and balanced sample of 1,318 complete responses\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The results were published in an academic paper titled <a href=\"https:\/\/arxiv.org\/pdf\/1703.04993.pdf\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>On the Unhappiness of Software Developers<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The researchers said happy workers &#8211;
