{"id":208066,"date":"2017-04-24T14:39:48","date_gmt":"2017-04-24T12:39:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=208066"},"modified":"2017-04-24T14:40:52","modified_gmt":"2017-04-24T12:40:52","slug":"r200000-prize-pool-for-entelect-challenge-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/software\/208066-r200000-prize-pool-for-entelect-challenge-2017.html","title":{"rendered":"R200,000 prize pool for Entelect Challenge 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Entries are open for the 2017 Entelect Challenge, which boasts a total prize pool of R200,000.<\/p>\n<p>The event will be based on the board game Battleships, and will be hosted at rAge 2017 in October.<\/p>\n<p>Competitors must use their coding abilities to compete for the prize, and will be provided with a starter pack &#8211; which includes resources and sample programs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis year, we have introduced a mini playoffs series, a staggered strategy component, and a webinar series with hands-on tutorials,&#8221; said Entelect Challenge Team Lead Tomislav Ravi\u0107.<\/p>\n<p>The prize money will be split among the mini playoffs and finals.
