{"id":209024,"date":"2017-05-03T09:57:27","date_gmt":"2017-05-03T07:57:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=209024"},"modified":"2017-05-03T09:59:09","modified_gmt":"2017-05-03T07:59:09","slug":"google-play-7-8-gets-ready-for-instant-apps","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/software\/209024-google-play-7-8-gets-ready-for-instant-apps.html","title":{"rendered":"Google Play 7.8 gets ready for Instant Apps"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>9to5Google has done an <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/9to5google.com\/2017\/05\/02\/play-store-7-8-instant-apps-pre-registration-teardown\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">APK Teardown<\/a><\/strong> of\u00a0version 7.8 of\u00a0the\u00a0Google Play Store for Android.<\/p>\n<p>It found strings in the app that point to\u00a0a new security feature and Instant App support, which has reportedly been\u00a0in the works since 2016.<\/p>\n<p>Instant Apps will allow users to\u00a0use parts of applications without downloading them.<\/p>\n<p>When running the app, you will be able to choose which Google account to use for sign-ins and payment. It also appears that users will be able to opt out of Instant apps.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\">Alerts<\/h3>\n<p>According to the report, the previous version of Google Play included strings for a &#8220;Verify Apps&#8221; feature.
