Kalahari.net has been voted the best online store, the best online bookstore and best online jewellery and watch store in the latest installment of the Jump Shopping South African e-Commerce Awards.<\/p>\n
Albert Bredenhann, Managing Director of Jump Shopping, says that he expects to see an e-commerce boom hit the market within the next two years due to the increased access to broadband as well as the entrance of offline stores joining the online arena.<\/p>\n
“E-Commerce in South Africa is definitely on the right track and with the anticipated growth of broadband penetration in South Africa, I think we can expect great things from online shopping in the next two years” says Matthew Buckland, General Manager from Mail & Guardian, one of the judges at this year’s awards. <\/p>\n
Other award winners include Bid or Buy for the best online auction site, Digital Planet for the best computer store, Netflorist for the best flower and gift store, Woolworths for the best wine and food store, BT Games for the best games store and Private Property for the best online property website.<\/p>\n
