{"id":210918,"date":"2017-05-16T14:38:33","date_gmt":"2017-05-16T12:38:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=210918"},"modified":"2017-05-17T08:34:55","modified_gmt":"2017-05-17T06:34:55","slug":"big-problems-on-telkom-systems","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/cellular\/210918-big-problems-on-telkom-systems.html","title":{"rendered":"Big problems on Telkom systems"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Telkom is experiencing problems with its systems which are impacting a number of customer services, the operator told subscribers.<\/p>\n<p>Clients started reporting problems this morning on social media and the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/888424-telkom-co-za-down\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">MyBroadband forums<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>One of the main problems\u00a0is that USSD menus and Telkom&#8217;s app are not working, preventing subscribers from buying data bundles.<\/p>\n<p>Other services impacted according to the reports are voice mail systems and the call centre.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/TelkomZA\/posts\/1318535981576795\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Telkom confirmed<\/a><\/strong> that problems on its systems started at 08:30 this morning.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs indicated in our status, we\u2019re experiencing system access problems.
