The South African Rugby Union (SARU) recently announced\u00a0that Vodacom has stepped away from its sponsorship rights for the Springbok team.<\/p>\n
Following the announcement, MTN stated<\/strong><\/a> that it is now the new title sponsor of the national rugby team.<\/p>\n MTN\u00a0has agreed to a three-year deal to back the national team, according to Sport24<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n The Springbok jersey will now carry the MTN logo on its centre, and the new kit will be worn for the first time against France this weekend.<\/p>\n \u201cOn behalf of the SA Rugby Executive Council, I would like to express our gratitude to Vodacom, who have demonstrated what a tremendous partner they have been over the years by hearing our case and putting the needs of the national team first.
