biggest announcements from E3 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This year&#8217;s E3 conference is underway, with the biggest video game companies in the world announcing new titles and hardware.<\/p>\n<p>E3 2017 will run until 14 June, with Microsoft, Bethesda, Electronic Arts, and Ubisoft already unveiling their upcoming releases.<\/p>\n<p>The biggest announcements from E3 2017 so far are detailed below.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\">Xbox One X<\/h3>\n<p>Microsoft unveiled its 4K gaming console, the <a href=\"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/gaming\/214984-microsoft-unveils-xbox-one-x-specifications-and-pricing.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Xbox One X<\/strong>.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/g-gp-Voq6MQ\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\">Star Wars Battlefront II<\/h3>\n<p>The Star Wars Battlefront sequel sees players battling each other in space and on the ground, and includes a single player campaign with the player taking on the role of an Imperial soldier.<\/p>\n<p>Battlefront II is set to release on 17 November.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/_q51LZ2HpbE\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\">Assassin&#8217;s Creed Origins<\/h3>\n<p>Set in ancient Egypt, the gameplay trailer showed some new features such as user-activated time slowdowns and the ability to scout an area using a bird&#8217;s-eye view.<\/p>\n<p>Origins is set to release on 27 October.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/YX0fd4q0baQ\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\">Original Xbox Backwards Compatibility<\/h3>\n<p>Microsoft announced that it will make original Xbox games playable on Xbox One consoles.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/qV5DWFrCNck\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\">FIFA 18<\/h3>\n<p>EA showed off numerous trailers for FIFA 18, including a Journey trailer which sees players stepping back into the role of Alex Hunter.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/z_7Gz_RFLnE\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\">Need for Speed Payback<\/h3>\n<p>Need for Speed Payback is set to release on 10 November 2017.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/K-5EdHZ0hBs\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\">Skyrim for Switch<\/h3>\n<p>Bethesda revealed that the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will be available on the Nintendo Switch.<\/p>\n<p>The Switch version of the game will include motion control integration.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/_7980ZPK8Dg\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\">Anthem<\/h3>\n<p>EA released the first gameplay trailer for Bioware&#8217;s upcoming open-world adventure game Anthem.<\/p>\n<p>Anthem is set to release in 2018 for Xbox One, PC, and PS4.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/EL5GSfs9fi4\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\">Forza Motorsport 7<\/h3>\n<p>Exclusive to Xbox One and Windows 10, the game&#8217;s announcement trailer showed off its 4K graphics and new line-up of cars.<\/p>\n<p>Forza Motorsport 7 will be available for Xbox One and PC on 3 October, and on 7 November for Xbox One X.<\/p>\n<p><iframe
