{"id":222197,"date":"2017-07-29T09:09:08","date_gmt":"2017-07-29T07:09:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=222197"},"modified":"2017-07-29T09:11:56","modified_gmt":"2017-07-29T07:11:56","slug":"windows-smartphone-sync-feature-now-available-for-iphone","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/software\/222197-windows-smartphone-sync-feature-now-available-for-iphone.html","title":{"rendered":"Windows smartphone-sync feature now available for iPhone"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Microsoft&#8217;s new smartphone-sync feature, which was recently <a href=\"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/software\/221845-windows-lets-you-link-your-phone-and-pc.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>launched for Android devices<\/strong><\/a>, is now <a href=\"https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/app\/continue-on-pc\/id1254607852?mt=8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>available for iPhones<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.windows.com\/windowsexperience\/2017\/07\/26\/announcing-windows-10-insider-preview-build-16251-pc-build-15235-mobile\/#pzdLpULXufgjyvOg.97\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Microsoft unveiled<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0the feature in its latest Windows 10 Insider Preview.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis build\u2019s scenario is focused on cross-device web-browsing,\u201d said Microsoft.<\/p>\n<p>After installing the new Windows 10 build, go to Settings &gt; Phone, and link your phone.<\/p>\n<p>The link ensures your sessions from your phone are continued on the PC you\u2019ve chosen.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter you\u2019ve linked your phone, just go to your phone and start browsing the web.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When you are at a website you want to view on your PC, you invoke the native share experience and share the website to the \u201cContinue on PC\u201d option.<\/p>\n<p>Once invoked, it will ask you to sign in with your Microsoft Account. It is important you use the same account you are using on your PC.<\/p>\n<p>Next it will ask you if you want to \u201cContinue now\u201d or \u201cContinue later\u201d.
