Games, experiments, and websites would be forgotten,&#8221; the petition stated.<\/p>\n<p>It said open sourcing Flash would be a way to keep Flash projects alive for archiving purposes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDon&#8217;t know how, but that&#8217;s the beauty of open source: you never know what will come up after you go open source.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe understand that there are licensed components you cannot release.
